Unlocked Skills and Deleted Accounts - Guild Wars Forums

Most of my storage mules are level 9 to 13. In most cases it was something to do for a day or two during a weekend. I am considering deleting one or two accounts in order to re-roll them.

My question is if a character unlocks skills (either regular skills or heroes skills) do the skills remain unlocked when the character that unlocked them is deleted?

Yes, any skills that you unlock will remain unlocked forever on that account, so at any time you can use a tome or put them on a hero.

Yes: the skills, weapon's upgrades, inscriptions, runes and insignias that you unlock are unlocked for your account, not only for the character that actually unlocked them. They remain unlocked also if you delete all your characters. (This is also true for account-wide titles, like gladiator, etc.).

Also, you can't delete accounts, only characters. I heard that if you really, really want to delete your account you have to ask ArenaNet.

it remains unlocked for the account. if u create a new pvp character, it will have access to the skills unlocked. if you create a new pve char, it will have to re-learn the skill, but heros will have access to the previously unlocked skills.

p.s. you are deleting characters, not accounts. ;-)
